After 28 years at C. Woermann, many of them as Head of Industrial Goods Africa, Volker Schlein is retiring.
He has left his mark on the company through his clear leadership, expertise and dependable nature. His steady hand, his knack for finding solutions and his understanding of African markets will be sorely missed. To many, he was more than a colleague – an experienced mentor and a pillar of the organisation.
His successor will be Mr Finn Isernhagen, who will take over responsibility for the Industrial Goods Africa division and continue the work in the proven Hanseatic tradition of continuity.
Volker, thank you for your dedication and for the values and legacy you leave behind. We wish you good health, happiness and many wonderful moments in this new chapter of your life!
