How to locate us in Afrikahaus
The headquarters of C. Woermann is located in Afrikahaus on Große Reichenstraße 27 in the heart of the city centre between the shopping street Mönckebergstraße, the city hall and the Hamburg warehouse quarter (Speicherstadt).
By public transport
Using the city’s metro systems (U- and S-Bahn) you can easily reach us from several stations:
5 minutes: Meßberg (U1), Rathaus (U3)
10 minutes: Jungfernstieg (U1, U2, U4, S-Bahn), Mönckebergstraße (U3)
15 minutes: Hauptbahnhof / central station (all metro and regional train lines)
Arriving from the airport
C. Woermann Hamburg is located about 30–50 minutes from the airport. The fastest connection is the metro line S1 from the airport to the station “Jungfernstieg” (about a 10 minute walk to Afrikahaus).
Arriving by car from the A7 motorway
After exiting from the motorway at “Othmarschen,” turn right and follow the signs for “Centrum” until you arrive at Willy-Brandt-Straße. After passing under a blue pedestrian bridge, turn left onto Domstraße and then turn right onto Große Reichenstraße at the next traffic lights.
Arriving by car from the A1/A24 motorways
Follow signs on the motorway towards “Centrum.” Upon entering the city, as the motorway ends, follow signs in the direction of “Centrum”/“Altona” until you reach Willy-Brandt-Straße. After passing the metro station “Meßberg” turn right onto Brandstwiete and then turn left onto Große Reichenstraße at the next traffic lights.

Parking is available directly next to the Afrikahaus in the “Große Reichenstraße” parking garage.
